CTM Mounts

CTM (Captive Transit Mounts) are engineered to provide high-performance vibration isolation for equipment subjected to both operational vibration and external forces during transport. Designed for mobile applications such as generator sets, engines, and trailer-mounted equipment, CTM mounts deliver reliable isolation while controlling movement under dynamic loading and g-forces. 

Utilizing an elastomer design that operates in combined shear and compression, CTM mounts provide optimal vibration reduction—up to 95% across all axes—ensuring effective isolation in multi-directional environments. An integrated overload stop delivers a failsafe mechanism, limiting excessive movement during transit and protecting equipment from shock loads. 

A durable metal top cap shields the elastomer from contaminants such as oil and fuel, enhancing longevity in harsh operating conditions. With load capacities ranging from 20 kg to 5,000 kg, CTM mounts offer a versatile and cost-effective solution for a wide range of industrial, mobile, and marine applications.

CTM Mounts for Mobile and Industrial Equipment

CTM (Captive Transit Mounts) are designed for equipment that must withstand both operational vibration and external movement during transportation. This makes them particularly useful for mobile equipment where vibration isolation and controlled movement are both important.

Unlike a basic vibration isolation mount, a captive mount can help limit excessive movement when equipment is exposed to dynamic loads, transportation forces or sudden changes in operating conditions.

Vibration Isolation for Generators, Engines and Pumps

CTM mounts can be used with a range of mobile and industrial equipment, including generator sets, diesel engines, marine engines, pumps and compressors. Their elastomer construction operates in both shear and compression to provide multi-directional vibration isolation.
The integrated overload stop provides an additional level of movement control by limiting excessive travel under high dynamic loads.

Protection in Demanding Environments

Mobile equipment can be exposed to oil, fuel, dirt and other contaminants that may affect conventional mounting components over time. CTM mounts incorporate a metal top cap that helps protect the elastomer from these contaminants.
