Applications and Selection of Unisorb IM Mounts

Unisorb IM Mounts are designed specifically for injection molding and die casting equipment where accurate leveling, stable positioning, and vibration control are important. The mounts provide adjustable support between the machine and floor while allowing the equipment to be leveled without conventional anchoring methods.

The available IM models accommodate different machine sizes and loading requirements. Models range from IM-51 with a maximum load of 3,000 lbs. per mount through IM-161 with a maximum load of up to 60,000 lbs. per mount. This range allows the mounting system to be selected according to the equipment’s weight and installation requirements.

The mounts also provide an adjustment range of approximately 1-3/8 inches on the smaller models, with larger models offering greater adjustment ranges. This makes them useful when installing machinery on floors that are not perfectly level and helps simplify the final alignment of the equipment.
