UNISORB® ST44-8.4 Spring Isolators are engineered to provide ultra-low frequency vibration isolation for the most demanding industrial and precision equipment applications. Utilizing high-performance steel springs, these systems deliver consistent, predictable isolation with a typical natural frequency in the 2–3 Hz range—ideal for eliminating environmental and structure-borne vibration.
Manufactured using advanced metallurgy and processes comparable to those used in high-performance automotive racing suspension systems, the springs provide exceptional durability, load capacity, and long-term reliability. Each isolator supports up to 8,400 lbs and can be configured to accommodate virtually any machine or foundation system.
ST44-8.4 isolators are supplied in a pre-loaded condition, allowing stable support during installation, including rebar placement and concrete pours—simplifying construction and improving accuracy. Each spring is wrapped in a damping mesh to reduce high-frequency resonance, while resilient bearing pads at the top and bottom accommodate minor surface irregularities.
