UNISORB® RT-6.5 Isolation Blocks are engineered natural rubber isolators designed for low-frequency vibration control in demanding industrial applications. Developed for both large vibration sources and highly sensitive equipment, these blocks provide effective isolation where conventional materials are not sufficient.
Manufactured using a proprietary natural rubber formulation and precision transfer molding process, RT-6.5 blocks deliver uniform, predictable load-deflection characteristics under heavy loads. Their engineered geometry and controlled curing ensure consistent performance, enabling a typical vertical natural frequency in the 4.5–5 Hz range—ideal for isolating low-frequency and large-amplitude vibrations.
RT-6.5 blocks function as discrete, point-load isolators and are arranged in engineered patterns based on machine center of gravity and operational loading. This approach allows for highly customized support systems capable of isolating virtually any machine or concrete foundation configuration.
With load capacities of up to 6,500 lbs per block, RT-6.5 Isolation Blocks are well-suited for applications such as coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), precision machining centers, grinders, dynamometers, gearboxes, and other equipment where vibration control is critical to performance and accuracy.
